EPRI supported the Social Policy section of the UNICEF Pakistan Country Office to define its comparative advantage in areas of social protection, identify entry points for strategic engagement in various elements of social protection and to guide the section towards forging coordinated partnerships with development partners and other agencies.
For this purpose, EPRI has adopted a consultative approach to review entry points in in terms of policy gaps, systems gaps and capacity gaps. Within these components of analysis, EPRI is exploring concepts of complementarity and linkages between existing programmes (or opportunities for linking). In terms of recommendations, the team will provide concrete entry points for UNICEF at the federal level and at the provincial levels across these three components of analysis
