Review of the Child Sensitive Social Protection Programme in Zambia

Save the Children Zambia has commissioned the Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI) to conduct an endline review of the Child Sensitive Social Protection (CSSP) project in Zambia.

The aim is to assess the extent to which the project has achieved its intended objectives and results, assess the relevance of the strategies and approaches that the project has been using, as well as make recommendations for future CSSP programming, especially focusing on strengthening the social protection system in Zambia.

The study is primarily qualitative, comprising primary qualitative data collection and secondary qualitative and quantitative data (reported). The primary data collection will include participatory methods, such as stakeholder consultations, key informant interviews with stakeholders, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with beneficiaries.

Secondary data reviewed will include annual reports, existing studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessments. The study captures the perspectives of children and caregivers and provides a holistic assessment of the CSSP project from design to implementation.
