Need to understand the current state of social protection provision for children from conception to the age of 18 years and explore the efficiency gains from cross-sectoral synergies to identify the best combinations of schemes for achieving the development goals most affordably.
For this evaluation, microsimulation analyses are used to better understand the coverage, impact and efficiency of existing social transfer programmes targeting children from conception up to the age of 18 and to explore opportunities for integration at the policy level to improve the impact, effectiveness, efficiency of existing social transfer schemes.
