EPRI delivered tailored knowledge sessions on designing and implementing adaptive social protection systems in Philippines for fifty-one selected government officials and UN staff to support the building of national capacities in the Philippines.
The training was designed in ways that balanced participants individual needs against the broader agenda of strengthening the social protection systems in the Philippines and the BARMM region.
The knowledge sessions improved the knowledge and ability of staff to provide regular and dependable social protection more comprehensively and help establish an adaptive and shock responsive social protection system in the Philippines.
The knowledge sessions for the key national government agencies and BARMM Ministries staff focused on strengthening their knowledge and bring in an integrated approach between social protection, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.
