The objective of this assignment is to support the Social Policy section of the UNICEF Pakistan Country Office to define its comparative advantage in areas of social protection, identify entry points for strategic engagement in various elements of social protection in decentralized fashion, and to guide the section towards forging coordinated partnerships with development partners and other agencies. Thus, this assignment will help to streamline and strengthen UNICEF’s work in the area of social policy and ultimately enhance the outcomes of its efforts in the social policy sector and particularly, for social protection.
