EPRI delivered tailored and highly flexible learning and capacity development programme FOR 20 government and WFP Staff in Uganda that is (i) responsive to
the individual learning needs of participants in terms of thematic focus and deep-dive content, (ii) flexible and adapted to participants; time availability within the training period and (iii) pedagogically sound to maximise individual -led learning, peer-to-peer learning and knowledge transfer from experts and mentorship.
The course aimed to strengthen the capacity of social protection practitioners and WFP staff for institutionalising shock-responsive social protection while also improving their ability to provide regular and dependable social protection more comprehensively and more effectively. The course helped the participants develop strong foundations on the concepts of social protection, and all the participants reported in the evaluation that they had acquired new skills and knowledge as a result of this training.
