The study aims to conduct an analysis to support national discussion on Social Protection policy options in Somalia. The main objective of this assignment is to provide the Government of Somalia and other key stakeholders in the social protection sector with adequate information and analysis on the policy options for addressing poverty and vulnerability to shocks in Somalia using cash transfer as a response.
As part of the study, EPRI will conduct a microsimulation analysis to assess the impact, coverage, efficiency, and sustainability of proposed social protection programmes in Somalia under various implementation scenarios.
